WELCOME to THE LONESTAR BRASSERIE PUERTO BANUS
WHAT’S IN A NAME?
The name LONESTAR itself may conjure up different images to different people, but there is a simple explanation. The owners of the Lonestar Brasserie in Puerto Banus are also directors of the famous Lonestar Hotel and Restaurant in Barbados. This popular hotel and restaurant is where the rich and famous make a bee line for when visiting the Caribbean Island and some of those same people can be seen in the restaurant of similar name on the front line of Puerto Banus.
The word BRASSERIE is synonymous with European street cafés, serving light, inexpensive good food in a bright trendy atmosphere. At the Lonestar we are fortunate to be able to offer the best of both worlds. During the day the restaurant certainly creates a brasserie feel with light lunches, great salads, good pastas, tasty wraps as well as modern British dishes such as Cottage Pie, Fish and Chips and Cumberland Sausages. All freshly prepared and cooked to order, served with a smile, offering a quick lunch for those that need it or a more leisurely meal for those that want it! Add this to a menu that offers a selection of grilled fish and meats and you can see why The Lonestar is probably one of the most popular lunch time venues in the area.
As for the evening, we tend to become more of a ‘restaurant’. Subtle lighting, good music and friendly, attentive service combined with a creative menu with a touch of ‘retro’. Remember Steak Diane? Chateaubriand? Crepe Suzettes? These famous dishes can be found alongside more creative Modern British and Mediterranean dishes.
PUERTO BANUS is a name unto itself - known for its elegant yachts, designer shops, celebrities and a never ending night life. The Lonestar is happy to be part of this vibrant scene and we are pleased to have made our mark with our quality food and service, creative and retro menus and our great value for money.
To make your evening even better value we will give you up to three hours complimentary parking in the underground car park close to the restaurant under La Plaza Antonio Banderas (just down from El Cortes Inglés on your right). Just bring your ticket with you.
Join us for our fantastic Sunday Lunches (1.00 to 5.00) or midweek lunches from (1.00 to 4.00) and watch the yachts bobbing gently, or in the evening for dinner, from 7.30, and just soak up the atmosphere and you will wonder why we were not available to you before.
